Position: Account Executive – Cannabis

Location: Hybrid/Remote – MA

  • On the road, and work from home

Territories: Western MA

Job Details:

  • Salary: $60K – $80K
  • Mon-Fri, Some weekend availability, Holidays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cover a sales territory consisting of cannabis dispensaries within a designated area within Massachusetts.
  • Successfully achieve brand KPIs and proactively execute retail distribution plans and objectives throughout our entire portfolio of products.
  • Strategize/preplan on how to best achieve sales objectives.
  • Analyze all accounts for business opportunities and consultative sales direction.
  • Coordinate and manage special events, programs, and initiatives as set forth by the company and our cultivator partners.
  • Maximize brand visibility within the dispensary by maintaining account standards as determined by FitzCanna management and utilizing current POS when appropriate.
  • Provide 100% coverage of assigned sales territory within the call frequency structure while creating an efficient and optimal daily route schedule.
  • Track and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly results relative to distribution, sales, programs, promotions, incentives, and special events.
  • Educate account staff and customers on priority brands by conducting budtender training and pop-up events.
  • Assist in facilitating dispensary payment to the cultivator.
  • Complete all necessary training programs and continually maintain industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional networks.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with all dispensaries and cultivators/manufacturers.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the cannabis space in Massachusetts is required.
  • Desire to sell and capacity to create and present professional presentations.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience in the cannabis and/or wine & spirits industries is required.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, timely with the ability to prioritize.
  • Team player in attitude and actions.
  • Professional written, oral, and electronic communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable car with proof of insurance.
  • Good driving record.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 40 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently reach, stoop, stand, kneel, bend, or squat.
  • Must be available for occasional weekend/overnight work (special events, pop-up events, pop-up training events, training and/or educational events).
